The Pastor is James Chittenden.

James grew up in the church and served as an Evangelist with the Open Air Mission before returning to Tollgate as an Apprentice. After a time of further training and 4 years as our Assistant Pastor, ministering alongside Ian, he now serves as Pastor. He is married to Ellie and they have one daughter.

Bernie Hickman serves along with James, forming the Eldership. They are responsible for the spiritual leadership and running of the church.

They are supported by the Deacons who oversee the more practical aspects of the church.

Ian Cooper

Ian Cooper, who faithfully served as Pastor here for for over 28 years, went to be with the Lord on 30th October 2023. He was dearly loved among the fellowship and will be greatly missed by all.
